What the Business Is
Helping Hands Cares, LLC operates throughout Maryland as a faith-led home and community care agency dedicated to serving adults 18+, seniors, adults with disabilities, and families needing dependable in-home support. Our philosophy emphasizes person-centered care, long-term relationships, and the inclusion of both the client and their family in every plan of care. We believe that care is a calling — not just a service — and that faith and compassion belong at the center of healing and support.
What Helping Hands Cares Does
We provide non-medical home care and personal support services in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, and assisted living environments. Services include bathing, grooming, meal preparation, companionship, housekeeping, errands, transportation, and assistance with mobility. Every caregiver is trained to serve with integrity, empathy, and excellence — delivering care that meets physical needs while uplifting the spirit.

About our Founder
Jomesa Boone, the founder and President of Helping Hands Cares LLC, brings over 28 years of healthcare and caregiving experience to her work as a Christian, leader, advocate, and entrepreneur.
Helping Hands Cares was founded on one core belief:
That we lead by faith and our ministry is to show kindness and love as God says in the Bible and has shown to us. We believe that Caregivers deserve to be seen, supported, and strengthened so that we can pour into those that we’re caring for.
Having served as a CNA, DSP, CMT, Case Manager, Caregiver, and Home Health Aide, Jomesa knows firsthand the rewards and the challenges of the caregiving journey — both professionally, personally, and spiritually.
And she knows the cost.
Through her own lived experiences as "the strong one" in her family and care community, Jomesa developed a deep passion for supporting those who give so much of themselves to care for others. To help caregivers reclaim their wholeness, receive the support they deserve, and feel empowered in both work and life. Helping Hands Cares was born from that passion & calling. She has been the one everyone calls, the one who always shows up — the Strong One.
She founded Helping Hands Cares LLC to be a beacon of compassion, empowerment, and excellence — offering services that not only support clients and healthcare organizations, but also uplift the caregivers at the heart of every care relationship.
