Helping Hands Cares provides non-medical in-home care services that honor your loved one’s dignity while supporting their independence.

We are dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and joyfully at home — while giving family members the peace of mind they deserve.

Helping Hands Cares, LLC provides compassionate, non-medical support to adults and seniors, including individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. We help people remain safe, engaged, and as independent as possible at home and in their communities.

CORE HOME CARE SERVICES

Personal care — respectful help with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and other daily routines based on the care plan.

Companion care — conversation, social engagement, safety support, reminders, and help staying connected at home and in the community.

Respite care — temporary caregiver relief so family members can rest, work, attend appointments, or manage other responsibilities.

Meal preparation and homemaker services — assistance with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safer, more comfortable home.

Transportation support — help with approved errands, appointments, and community activities when included in the person’s care arrangement.

DISABILITY SUPPORT

We welcome adults with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Support is individualized around the person’s goals, routines, independence, community participation, and authorized service plan.

PAYMENT AND ELIGIBILITY

We serve private-pay clients and individuals receiving services through Maryland Medicaid programs, including the Community Options Waiver, when services are within our approved scope and properly authorized. We also welcome inquiries from individuals and families connected with DDA, care coordinators, support brokers, and community organizations. We review the person’s program, service plan, provider requirements, and current availability before confirming services.

AREAS WE SERVE

We currently serve Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, and Washington counties, plus Baltimore City. Service availability depends on the requested support, location, authorization, schedule, and caregiver availability.

HOW TO BEGIN

1. Select Request Care or call 443-864-0755.

2. We contact you the same business day to discuss the person’s needs, county, schedule, payment or program authorization, and preferred next steps.

3. When we can meet the request, we create a personalized plan and coordinate the start of care.
